Paolo Mariano

As the Store Manager, I am responsible for the overall performance of the store, leading the team to achieve all key metrics, including sales goals and growth, recruitment, development of the store team, store merchandising and visual presentation, expense and payroll management. I work to create an exceptional customer experience as we support customers in creating beautiful spaces. 

One of the best parts of my role is getting to work alongside an incredibly talented team that's always willing to share ideas, challenge each other, and celebrate wins together. At Article, we care deeply about doing great work, but just as importantly, how we work together.

With over 10 years of experience in retail management, I have built a career focused on leading high-performing teams, driving business results, and creating exceptional customer experiences. My background in the home furnishings industry has given me a deep understanding of how thoughtful design, visual merchandising, and personalized service come together to inspire customers and grow sales. 

Outside of work, you'll often find me at a local Broadway production or checking out the newest food hotspot in the city. 

My biggest piece of advice for any applicant is to simply be yourself. Authenticity goes a long way, and genuine connections are always more meaningful than rehearsed answers.
