Jennifer McMillan

I lead the People & Culture department, working with a fantastic team to develop our department plan and ensure our people philosophies and practices meet Article’s needs, and that we have the right structures, processes, systems, and tools in place for Particles to thrive.

We don't do things for the sake of it. We always ask, "what problem are we trying to solve?" And then we embrace diversity of thought to solve that problem, regardless of title or hierarchy. It's a fun team spirit that has me feeling challenged and inspired.

I started my career in Management Consulting helping clients to manage change effectively. I got some pretty cool opportunities, including going underground in a diamond mine up north, and working in Singapore! I then put my travelling life to rest and led the organizational change management practice, L&D, and HR advisor team at YVR. I joined Article in 2020 to build our Talent & Learning Development function. Now three years later, I've taken on a new challenge, leading the broader People & Culture department. Outside of work, you can usually find me baking - cupcakes, cookies...yum yum yum!
