Chris Barragan

I am a new leader here at Article but I am excited to bring my experience and passion to the table. I am currently helping build a new team in Patterson that I am confident will quickly and safely be number one in the network while having fun getting there.

At Article, you get to work with amazing teams across the organization. People are working together to create an unforgettable experience for our customers. We are obsessed with our customers and do whatever it takes to make things as easy as possible so they can spend more time making great memories with their new furniture.   

I started my journey in the furniture industry in 2010 and I have been having a blast ever since.  I started as an unloader and was fortunate enough to have worked myself up into leadership roles in both Inventory and Warehouse Operations.  I have had the pleasure of opening two distribution centers and a few retail stores so far in my career.  I'm excited to use the experience gained in those times during Article's current and future endeavors, and look forward to growing with the company as well.

Outside of work you can find me spending time with my wife and two daughters or watching mixed martial arts with my dog. I wake up every morning eager to be better than yesterday.

Be yourself and ask a lot of questions. Use constructive feedback as a positive tool to get you closer to your goals (do not be afraid to ask for it).  If you find someone along the way that you would like to learn from, ask for their mentorship. Showing initiative and interest will get you noticed.
