Retail with Runway ⚡️

Start on the sales floor. Grow from there.

Every store is a place to learn about Article and build your career. Our Home Experts have grown into Sales Floor Lead roles, taken on regional opportunities, or even continued into other parts of the business.

In some locations, being close to our HQ can open up even more paths. But no matter where you start, the foundation is the same: a focus on Customer Obsession and the opportunity to keep learning along the way.

Hi there, we’re Article 👋

Since 2013, we’ve been reinventing the furniture industry one sofa at a time through our direct-to-consumer model. What began online has grown into a brand trusted by millions of customers across North America.

As we’ve grown, so has the way our customers want to shop. Our retail stores bring the brand to life, creating a space where our customers can experience our furniture in person while keeping the simplicity of buying direct.

We opened our first showroom in Vancouver’s Strathcona neighbourhood, just down the street from our HQ. It’s where we’ve been testing, learning, and shaping what retail looks like at Article, with more North American locations on the way.

Home Experts

Home Experts are the heart of the store. They’re the face of Article for every customer who walks through the door. They build trust, guide decisions, and turn great design into a great experience.

Leadership

Our Leadership team exists both on and off the sales floor to bring out the best in our people.

Store Leadership coaches, develops, and empowers Home Experts to provide a remarkable experience for our customers. While our HQ team brings the broader retail vision to life by planning and designing new stores and shaping the end-to-end customer experience.

Visual Merchandising

Our Visual Merchandising team keeps the store looking its best. They bring our products to life through thoughtful layouts and styling that customers can picture in their own homes and truly feel inspired by.

Criminal Background Checks:

Having a criminal record does not restrict your employment at Article. Criminal background checks are only conducted with your permission and after a conditional employment offer has been accepted.

The decision if a criminal record will restrict your employment will be done on a case by case decision, where we conduct an "individualized assessment"—a reasoned, evidence-based determination as to whether the applicant's past conviction has a direct and adverse relationship with the specific job duties of the position.

Work Authorization:

Unless otherwise stated, all open roles require legal authorization to work in the location where the job is based, without requiring VISA sponsorship.

For US based roles, Article participates in E-Verify.

Equal Opportunity Statement:

At Article, we value and respect individuals for their different talents, skills, abilities, and unique contributions. Employment decisions are based on merit and business needs, and not on race, ethnic origin, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family status, disability, genetic characteristics, personal beliefs, or any other classification protected by federal, state, provincial, and local laws and ordinances.
