What is a Wayfinder
The Article Way defines how we should act as Particles (person who works at Article).
A Wayfinder leads by example. They are adaptable, resilient, and find a way forward in the unknown, helping others to do the same.
They:
- Relentlessly seek meaningful challenges, always striving to be better.
- Obsess over customer needs, earning trust and exceeding expectations.
- Challenge the status quo, digging deep to understand the full picture.
- Take initiative and ownership, driving Article’s success.
- Build and elevate high-performing teams, inspiring excellence through collaboration.
How does it work?
Every six months, Particles get the chance to nominate a fellow Particle who inspires you. It can be anyone: a peer, your manager, your team member, an internal supplier or customer, you name it.
They submit their nomination using a form, explaining how the Particle embodies the Article Way.
Nominations are assessed by a judging panel, with a winner in each of these categories chosen:
- Vancouver / Remote
- Warehousing
- Vietnam
- Customer-Facing teams (Customer Care / Retail)
What do they get?
Each winner receives:

It is what led us to start Article, and it is what continues to drive us every day.
The Article Spirit must show up in everything we do. We must always question how we can deliver better— if we do this again and again and again, we will become remarkably better, and there we must remain.

Tedra is the perfect example of someone the Wayfinder Awards should look to recognize. Not only do they excel in their role both for customer and colleague, they also seek to make us better everyday. If you ask Tedra for their support you can not only count on them doing it well but coming back with suggestions on what we should alter to improve the outcome. Having recently taken over certain early fraud prevention duties they have already saved Article tens of thousands in potential losses due solely to their own drive to leave things better than they found them.
Tedra is part of our sales support team dealing with business customers. They are consistently recognized to have the one of the best quality monitoring scores in all of Customer Care. The quality of their conversations with our customers has raised the bar in how we look to create the best experience possible. They are also a huge support to their team, answering complex questions daily and providing valuable insights for documentation of SOP and training. Tedra is an Article wayfinder

I believe KJ has truly embodied both the Article Way and Spirit. Despite joining the Outdoor midseason, she quickly showed a keenness and eagerness, bringing fresh eyes to everything she does with offering deep insights, questioning assumptions, and consistently delivering great work. Most recently, her work on Outdoor and PFAS went well beyond expectations. She not only identified impacted products but also uncovered key business challenges like timeline gaps and current status, enabling CMT to finally analyze the data properly to hindsight impact. Her efforts have not only helped our team and will inform best practices moving forward, (talk about Win Together)!! From day one, KJ has been an incredible partner and contributor, the list really goes on. I would nominate KJ every week if I could.

In response to the challenges posed by global U.S. tariffs, Minh not only navigated complexity with precision—he delivered the highest average supplier discount at Article.
His achievement is the result of deep market insight, strong relationship management, and a relentless pursuit of value. Minh consistently seeks opportunities to improve outcomes, balancing cost savings with long-term supplier partnerships. His efforts directly impact our margins and business resilience, setting a high bar for what continuous improvement looks like in practice.

Warehousing
Bhavkiran Singh Dhaliwal

I would like to nominate Bhavkiran Singh Dhaliwal in recognition of their exceptional leadership, ownership, and continued contributions to improving warehouse operations.
Over the past 6 months, He has successfully led several high-impact initiatives under the guidance of his manager, the most notable being the Small Bin Creation Project, which expanded bin aisles from A–M to A–O. This project significantly improved inventory organization and picking efficiency by eliminating the need to store multiple Box IDs in the same bin line. Bhavkiran managed the planning, execution, and follow-up of this project while ensuring it met 5S and operational standards.
In addition to project leadership, Bhavkiran has taken on the responsibility of independently handling the morning shift as we only have 1 supervisor in YYC. They’ve ensured smooth operations, proper shift handovers, and ongoing support for team members, all while maintaining productivity and attention to safety.
They are also consistently looking for ways to make the facility safer, whether it's through identifying risks, recommending improvements, or implementing small but meaningful changes to prevent incidents.
